As we come upon Memorial Day, a day when we remember those who have died in our nation's service, let us be thankful for those who are willing to put their lives on the line so we can enjoy freedom here in the United States of America!
I am especially thankful for: my Dad, who served during World War II and is no longer with us.

I'm always grateful for those who paid the price for our freedom, as well as those who were willing to. I've known many WWII veterans over the years; most of them aren't around any more. I'm glad I took the opportunity to express my appreciation to them while they were.
