Sam's Hockey Game!

Yesterday we went to cousin Sam's hockey game.

JMonster had been to the Aggie game, but the other kiddos had never been to a game.

Big Science Day!

Yesterday we attended the Physics and Engineering 

Festival at Texas A&M University.  

I know, we're nerds!  But it was a ton of fun!

Not sure what we're waiting for!  (We just arrived...)

Oh, THAT is what we were waiting for!  Blowing stuff up is cool AND we got wet!

An Ideal Evening in Our Backyard

We had a "family night" in the backyard tonight.

Roasted hotdogs.

The kids swam.

Sat by the pool with our feet in the water.

Bliss!

The thing going on in Libya is not a war.  We are not at war with Libya.  It is a "kinetic military action".

Hmmm...

Wouldn't it be better to admit you were wrong about the need for war than to look like so idiotic!?!

I'm not one to only think in black and white.

There are definitely many shades of gray.

In March?

Got my first call about swimming lessons today.

Now, I have been thinking about whether I'm going to teach this summer or not.

And I have come up with a plan.

Teach less hours.  Charge more money.

Good plan?

But I have to admit I wasn't expecting anyone to call me YET!

The water is still only 70 degrees!

Brrr...

This is what 70 degrees feels like in the water!  And yes, this is the pool I will be teaching in.  Great, huh?

And WAY. TOO. EARLY.

I'm still not over my Spring Break lethargy.

Spring Break and My Bad Mommy Moment

It's Spring Break here in the great state of Texas!

We've celebrated JMonster's birthday.

We've celebrate JMonster's birthday on his REAL birthday.

And we've hung out at the house.

A lot.

The kids have gone swimming!

(I know...the water is still freezing!  Do NOT ask me to get in when it is 70 degrees or less.  Ask again when we hit 85 or 90 IN the pool!)

My bad mommy moment?

I forgot to put sunscreen on the boy today.

They went skinny dipping.

Yep, swam in the nude.
